During the Second World War over 6,700 young Americans, members of the 2nd Air Division of the 8th United States Army Air Forces, based in Norfolk and Suffolk England, lost their lives in the line of duty. Collections: The purpose of the library is to house a collection of materials about American freedom, culture, and life, about the Second World War in the air, and about the special relationship between the people of the UK and the people of the United States.

Seething Control Tower is a restored WWII control tower. The 448th Bomb Group flew B24 Liberator Bombers on 262 Mission and 500 men lost from November to June. We have lots of memorabilia, displays and the 448th BG collection consisting of large collection of photographs and albums of 448th veterans stories/war diaries.

The History of Advertising Trust (HAT Archive) was established in the UK in 1974 by a small group of individuals who believed that the best of UK advertising should be preserved for posterity. Collections: HAT Archive provides a vast and unique research resource. The collections consist of every kind of advertising and public relations material, including original artwork, posters, point of sale promotions, brochures, proofs, press and magazine cuttings, complete consumer magazines, direct mail, photographs, transparencies, audio and video tapes, TV and cinema commercials and campaign research.

The Mo: Sheringham Museum is a stunning museum, located right on the seafront in Sheringham. The museum has a beautiful collection of fishing boats, crab boats and lifeboats. Collections: Displays of local Sheringham history including boat building, lifeboats, fishing, the 'Weybourne Elephant' (1.5 million years old), leisure in Sheringham, the Upcher family, the war years, beach finds, the art of local people, art relating to the town, flint picking. In the museums research room we hold a digital copy of our photographic archive of around 2500 images and a collections database.
