In its role as the museum of the East Riding, the Treasure House acts as a repository for artefacts, documents and photographs relating to the archaeology, geology and social history of the East Riding. Notable holdings include the South Cave Weapons Cache, a unique group of Iron age swords/speaheads and a collection of First World War uniforms, photographs and documents relating to the East Riding Yeomanry.
